Go-to-Market | Startup
Finding the White Space.
Cindee is an early-stage entertainment marketplace designed to connect independent filmmakers, film festivals and audiences within one digital ecosystem.
I helped shape the platform’s go-to-market and audience strategy, using market and competitive research to understand where Cindee could differentiate itself within a fragmented independent-film landscape.
MARKET + COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
I researched the independent film and festival ecosystem and analyzed competing platforms, business models, audience experiences and positioning. The goal was to move beyond assumptions and identify gaps in the market that could inform Cindee’s strategy.
POSITIONING + AUDIENCE STRATEGY
Using those insights, I helped clarify Cindee’s value proposition across its key audiences — filmmakers, festivals and consumers — and contributed to positioning a complex multi-sided marketplace in a way that was easier to understand and communicate.
GO-TO-MARKET + LAUNCH PLANNING
I contributed to Cindee’s go-to-market approach, considering how the platform could build awareness, attract early users and create momentum across multiple sides of the marketplace.
THE STRATEGY IN ACTION
The final investor pitch brought the market opportunity, audience strategy, platform concept, and go-to-market vision together into one cohesive story.

Results
Cindee placed 2nd out of 8 teams, and the strategy and investor story supported the platform in securing $150,000 in pre-seed funding. The project demonstrated how competitive intelligence, audience insight and positioning can translate into a compelling go-to-market narrative for an emerging product.
